Hogwarts Realm
Please read the Student Handbook and the STORY PLOT before moving ahead. Your character will be denied admittance to the site if you do not read the rules carefully before creating your character.
If you are a new member to Hogwarts Realm, go HERE for a step-by-step guide to help you get started. You are required to read this before creating your character.
Any new witches and wizards are encouraged to submit their Character Profile so you can be accepted as soon as possible. Once a Staff Member replies that you have been accepted, you can get your school supplies and begin exploring the site!
Our members are all very friendly and helpful, I'm sure everyone will feel right at home here.

Newbies, Come On In! (1 sub-board) Having a login issue? Can't get your password? Accidently delete yourself? Then come on in with any questions about getting started.
RP Basics This is a new board that has been created to ensure that everyone has the knowledge and skills to participate on this site. You are required to come here when your Character is approved so you can prove that you understand the rules to RP. Once the person running the board approves you, you may begin on the site.
Character Selection (2 sub-boards) Come here after registering to tell about your RPG character. Your description aides in the Sorting process, so be creative! Start a new thread with the form provided in the "Guidelines" area.
The Daily Prophet (5 sub-boards) The Daily Prophet provides information about what's happening with our favorite stars, book, movies, anything about HP. Come on in and read the latest news!
Also read a listing from the Classifieds to see what jobs are available.
(11 sub-boards) Before you leave for Hogwarts, you'll need to get your supplies. Diagon Alley is just one of the many places available to shop at, so choose your favorite location and lighten your coinpurse.
Knockturn Alley (9 sub-boards) If Diagon Alley isn't quite your cup of tea, maybe you'd be more comfortable in Knockturn Alley for all your shopping needs. There are plenty of shops, so take a walk and see what you think.
Hogsmeade (8 sub-boards) Hogsmeade is one of the few all-wizarding villages in the area. There are plenty of shops, and many things to see in Hogsmeade. Take a stroll and see for yourself.
The Dark Passage (1 sub-board) Found yourself in the depths of the Dungeons? Take a walk down the Dark Passage and see who you find. Moderator: Andromeda Tonks

THE FIRST FLOOR
The Hospital Wing If you have been injured, jinxed, or have any physical concerns, come in and see the Hospital Wing Nurse. Visiting hours to patients are from dawn to dusk every day.
Student Services Offices (5 sub-boards) Enter to find the Inquisitorial Squad, the Mentor Program, and the Student Housing Offices. Class Registrations are also held here, all students must come to sign up before attending classes.
The Staff Lounge (3 sub-boards) This corridor has several rooms off of it, all of which require a password to enter. Inside you will find the Lounge, Teacher's Resources, and the Staff Meeting Room.
Monthly Staff Meetings will be held here, the last weekend of each month.
The Owlery Come to the Owlery to send a letter, a howler, and to visit your Owl! And new this Term, we are beginning to have Owl Racing! Enter your Owl in the competition, see which is the fastest!
Student Apartments (4 sub-boards) A long hallway at the top of the Northern Tower leads you to the corridor for the Student Apartments. There is a small staircase leading to each level and a communal bathroom for each level to share.
The Dueling Club (6 sub-boards) We have redone the Dueling Club completely, now you can join in with your House's team and compete against other House Teams in multi-person duels!
Classroom Corridor (13 sub-boards) When you have climbed the staircase to the Third Floor, you pass by the Dueling Club and the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare to a large, ornate door labeled "Classrooms". Opening it, you go through to find a long corridor, with doors on both sides of you, stretching a very long ways from where you started from. Each classroom is labeled clearly on the wall next to the door, so you have no trouble finding your lessons without getting lost.
The Room of Requirement (2 sub-boards) Need a place to study, practice, hide, or just hang out in? Then walk past the Room of Requirement 3 times thinking about what you need and it will appear.
((Come on in and post a request inside for the room of your choice. A sub-board with a password will be created for you.))
Hogwarts Gobstones Club (3 sub-boards) Here you will find the Wizard Game that is sweeping the nation, GOBSTONES!!! Come here to find out how to play, then join in for some fun!
Headmistress' Office (1 sub-board) If you have a question, comment, or suggestion for the Headmistress about the site, enter here! Moderator: Andromeda Tonks
The Writing Club If you are a fan of Poetry and writing Stories, why not check out the Writing Club? You can display your own Poems or Stories you've written and get some feedback, or just meet with other fans to talk about the joy of writing. Moderator: Andromeda Tonks
The Black Lake On the edge of Hogwarts Grounds, you will find the mysterious Black Lake, home to the giant squid and merpeople. Enjoy yourself while you swim or relax here, but don't stray too far out there.....
The Quibbler Our Editorial Writers give their opinions of the Wizard World and publish articles of the "goings-on" around Hogwarts Realm. Come here to read or submit an opinion.
Order of the Phoenix Headquarters This is the private meeting place for the OOTP and can only be accessed with a password. Send an Owl to the Headmistress or Leader of the Order for information and passwords. Moderators: Andromeda Tonks, Sirri Black
Theories and Suspicions This board is devoted to they many mysteries of the Potter Realm. The board contains spoilers, to those of you who haven't read all the books. (And shame on you for not reading them!) Come inside and share some of your own suspicions, be them rational or otherwise.
The Chamber of Challenges (5 sub-boards) Come here to answer trivia questions, riddles, and play games for House Points! New Monthly Contests are added all the time, including a Graphics contest! Interactive Flash Games in here too! Drive the Knight Bus or Try to Avoid the Whomping Willow.

The Relaxation Room (4 sub-boards) This room is for chatting about anything. Come inside to talk about school, siblings, parents, work, pets, games, or anything else that's on your mind.

Graphic Contests Here is where you can duel it out with other Wizards, with graphics! Try your luck at the Signature contests, Avatar Contests, and many more!
Explanation of the Witch Trials The Witch Trials is a new additon to Hogwarts Realm. For a more in-depth description of the game, come inside this board and step into the world of the Salem Witches.
Village (4 sub-boards) The Village of Salem was always a peaceful place, right up until 1692, when accusations of witchcraft flooded the people's ears. The town has a high level of hostility within it now, one of which can erupt in the blink of an eye. Best stay on your feet here...
The Marauder's Era This area is for serious RP only in the Era of the Marauder's. You can choose to be a Cannon Character from that era, or invent your own Character to use while you RP here. Moderator: Andromeda Tonks
